Studying IT (Information Technology or Computer Science) in Spain is a great option — the country has strong universities, affordable tuition compared to Western Europe, and many programs available for foreign students who want to study in Spanish.

Step 1:

Step 2:

Document Review (up to 10 working days)

 

  • Within 10 working days, you will receive an email confirmation:

    • Approved → You move forward in the process.

    • Not Approved → You will receive feedback on the reasons.

Step 3:

Writing Exam (3 Months after review)

  • Approved applicants will be notified by email with their exam date.

  • The exam will be scheduled within 3 months .

Step 4:

Online Interview (3 Months after Exam)

  • Applicants who meet the required standards will be invited to an online interview.

  • This interview helps our team evaluate academic potential, motivation, and overall eligibility for scholarships.

🇪🇸 1. Understand the Academic Structure

In Spain, IT-related programs are usually offered under:

  • Grado en Ingeniería Informática (Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering)

  • Grado en Ingeniería de Software (Software Engineering)

  • Grado en Ciberseguridad (Cybersecurity)

  • Grado en Ciencia de Datos o Inteligencia Artificial (Data Science or AI)

Duration: 4 years (240 ECTS credits).
After that, you can continue with a Máster (Master’s) if you wish.

    2. Partial Scholarship (50%) – Covers half of the tuition fees.

Notice : All admitted candidates are required to successfully complete a one-year college program in Spain, which includes Spanish language training and a university preparatory course. The cost of this program is fully covered by the Nexora Scholarship. Students must earn the necessary qualification to enroll in their chosen field of study; otherwise, their scholarship for the second academic year will be discontinued.

What are the steps to get Nexora Scholarship

Here is the typical flow:

  1. Application

    • Apply online via Nexora’s website. Fill in the application form, provide required academic transcripts and documents. 

    • Pay the evaluation fee (document review fee): €150.

  2. Document Verification & Evaluation

    • Academic records are checked. 

    • Check for eligibility and required documentation. 

  3. Nexora Test

    • A written test that assesses general knowledge, reasoning, perhaps subject-relevant knowledge. It’s described as “simple” and “fair.” nexoratest.com+2nexoratest.com+2

    • For medicine, there might also be a Medical Sciences version of this test. 

  4. Interview

    • After test, candidates who pass may be invited to an interview with Nexora’s panel. This is where they assess motivation, leadership, readiness for studying abroad, etc. 

  5. Decision & Scholarship Offer

    • The scholarship may be full or partial tuition or include living allowance etc.

  6. After getting the Scholarship

    • Maintain certain academic standards (grades etc.) for renewal. 

    • Possibly demonstrate proficiency in Spanish (if the program is taught in Spanish) for continuing or in later years.
