How to Get a Nexora Scholarship for Pharmacy in Spain

  • The Grado en Farmacia in Spain is a 5-year official university degree (300 ECTS) taught mainly in Spanish (and in some regions also in Catalan/Valencian/Basque). Universitat de Barcelona

  • Most applicants (including many foreign applicants) must pass a university access exam (EBAU/EvAU / or UNEDasiss PCE for foreigners) or obtain an approved equivalence. Pharmacy is competitive — universities publish a “nota de corte” (cut-off) each year; competitive programs (e.g., large public universities) often require high access scores.

      1. Full Tuition Scholarship – Covers the entire cost of tuition.

      2. Partial Scholarship (50%) – Covers half of the tuition fees.

      3. Annual Living Allowance – Financial support to help with living expenses.

    Notice : All admitted candidates are required to successfully complete a one-year college program in Spain, which includes Spanish language training and a university preparatory course. The cost of this program is fully covered by the Nexora Scholarship. Students must earn the necessary qualification to enroll in their chosen field of study; otherwise, their scholarship for the second academic year will be discontinued.

What are the steps to get Nexora Scholarship

  • Check Eligibility

  • Register with Nexora

  • Submit Documents for Review

    • Upload required academic records: secondary diploma, transcripts, certificate of subjects (chemistry, biology, etc.). If your diploma is not directly recognized in Spain, you may need validation or equivalence (homologación). Nexora – Scholarships Opportunities+1

    • Provide proof of identity, language certificates (Spanish B2 or higher if the program is in Spanish, or English if required). Nexora – Scholarships Opportunities+1

  • Pay the Application / Evaluation Fee

  • Take the Nexora Entrance Test

    • Once your documents are accepted, you will be required to take a Nexora test. This is designed to evaluate general reasoning, academic readiness, etc.

  • Interview Phase

    • If you pass the test, there will be an interview stage. This usually assesses your motivation, communication skills, and fit for the Pharmacy program. 

  • Scholarship Decision & Award

    • Based on your performance (documents, test, interview), Nexora selects candidates for scholarship awards. Top performers may receive full scholarships; others may get partial scholarships or living allowances. 

    • If awarded, you’ll receive an official offer including what is covered (tuition, living cost support, etc.). 

  • After the Award

    • Once you accept the scholarship, you’ll need to finalize admission into a Spanish university, obtain a student visa (if you’re from outside the EU), and satisfy any homologation of credentials (if necessary).

    • Maintain required academic standards to keep the scholarship (grades, behavior, etc.). Some scholarships may also require continuing eligibility over the course of study.
